American Kenpo Karate

American Kenpo Karate is a martial art form created in the 1950’s to address the shortfalls of traditional martial arts when applied to real-world self-defense situations. Combining techniques from traditional karate, kung fu, and other art forms into an effective self-defense system. Our karate instructors range from 1st degree to 7th degree black belts and all have over 20 years of experience in American Kenpo Karate. Recreational Boxing

Learn to box and get in shape
Downers Grove Boxing & Martial Arts is a great place to learn the art of boxing. You may not wish to enter the ring, but you’ll train as if you were. Get in the best shape of your life with the help and support of our other members and our highly qualified staff. In our boxing classes, you’ll have the opportunity to be taught by one of several Golden Gloves champions. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Made popular by Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fights and the UFC, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an art form with techniques that enable smaller fighters to prevail against larger opponents.
